It’s official… Luke Bryan will be “Here to Party” in 2013.

Luke Bryan will be returning to the Spring Break Capital of the World – Panama City Beach, FL for more concert performances during Spring Break 2013.

Bryan’s performances in PCB are part of his Dirt Road Diaries Tour, which is promoting his latest EP: Here to Party. (Look out for it on store shelves and digital retailers on March 5th).

Just because a tour operator is offering a package deal – it doesn’t always mean you’ll save money. Believe it or not, once all the extra items get “bundled” into your package, you may just end up actually paying MORE for a bunch of stuff you didn’t even want in the first place, and you’ll never use. Tour operators like to strike deals with local businesses – like bars, for example. So your package advertises this unbelievable free drink hour at bar xxx. The problem is, the bar ends up being lame – and somebody’s grandma is the DJ!

You’ve Gotta do it Now You’ve Paid…

Now there’s a sinking feeling, and it’s an all too common scenario; that ‘too-good-to-be-true’ Spring Break package deal you snagged includes a day trip / tour. It sounded amazing at first, but all of a sudden you realize you’ve gotta get up at 6am to leave with the group. But your head is still banging from partying the night before… You’ve gotta decide… Do you go and feel lousy all day, or skip it and lose the money you’ve spent? Don’t feel obligated to go somewhere/do something to have a good time…

Your dates are different because your School isn’t out that week, besides, that room has no windows! Then, after they add on the booking fee, convenience fee, service charge, administration fee, and other fees you’ve never even heard of – you rarely end up paying that price advertised.

Spring Break Package Tip: Be sure to call and find out EXACTLY how much everything is gonna cost before falling in love with a “deal”.

Huh? What was that…

Zombies are pretty stupid for the most part, and they rely on huge numbers of the their undead horde. Since they are attracted to movement – you’re already at a natural advantage if you’re on Spring Break in Panama City Beach. For most of the day, you’ll probably be laying out by the pool, floating in the pool (hopefully face-up!), laying out in the sun on the beach, or swaying in a hammock. None of these things are likely to attract any unwanted Zombie attention.

04. You’re at Your Fittest.

Dude, is that an 8-pack?!

You know Spring Break is coming, so you probably find the weights that have been hidden somewhere in the garage, and dig out the Hip Hop Abs DVD a few weeks, or even months before. Toning up, and doing more cardio than you’ve done all year! So, even if the worst happened, and the Z-Day does come to Panama City Beach – you’re in the best possible shape to evade those brain-hungry S-O-B’s – aaaaand you’ll look awesome doing it!

03. Boogie Nights.

Not heard this remix before…

Some of the things that go hand-in-hand with any good Panama City Beach Spring Break are great DJ’s, and awesome bars and beach clubs. Looking at a packed dancefloor through the eyes of a zombie, everyone probably looks like they are mindlessly flailing to the beat. Almost mimicking the typical zombie swagger. Not to mention all the red eyes (from lack of sleep, right?) Attempting to blend in… It’s a sensible defense strategy.

02. Talking the Talk.

Ummm…. Durrrr….

Anyone who’s ever seen a horror movie knows that Zombies are attracted to anything that sounds different, and out of the ordinary. This includes coherent speech. Daytime: most people are hung over, and until you get that coffee or energy drink, communication is limited to basic groans and mumbles. Nighttime: The familiar effects of liquor have set in, and you’re once again reduced to more incoherent speech. That leaves just a small window of the day where you’re capable of normal communication. The odds are totally in your favor!

You’ve gotta come back sometime!

A big part of Spring Break 2013 in Panama City beach has to be the watersports. You’re right on the beach next to the crystal clear emerald-green Gulf of Mexico water… Zombies don’t exactly have a reputation for cutting up the waves in a Jet Ski, flying around with a Parasail strapped to their back, or stand-up paddleboarding.  Get wet, stay safe! (Come to think of it, a high speed Zombie Jet Ski chase would be kinda awesome!)

But the more we thought about it, we realized it would never happen. Not in Panama City Beach, and especially not during Spring Break…

Here’s why Panama City Beach Spring Break 2013 is possibly the safest time and place to survive Z-Day.

When was the last time you saw a Zombie on the Beach?

10. You’ve Never Seen It Before…

Panama City Beach, Florida is home to the World’s most beautiful beaches. When was the last time you saw a zombie movie where the undead were just taking it easy on the beach, with a tropical cocktail, rocking out to their iPod in a hammock? You didn’t. It never happens. Everyone knows that zombies prefer downtown urban city spaces, isolated countryside, or pretty much anywhere in Eastern Europe.

Dude, I’m wasted. Is my eye doing that thing again?

09. Cheers!

Panama City Beach’s bar and club scene is ALIVE during Spring Break. With LOTS of awesome bars and night clubs (like the Tiki Bar, La Vela, Spinnakers etc.) Lucky for you, zombies have a pretty strict diet of brains. So anywhere offering 2-for-1 Jäger shots, Free Tiki Punch, or bottomless beer isn’t even gonna be on their radar.

08. (Almost) Everybody Loves the Sunshine…

Panama City Beach is also famous for having an average of 320 days of sunshine per year. This is also pretty handy, since Zombies dig the dark… Maybe they are sensitive about all their torn, raggedy clothes – Whatever the reason, with all that glorious sunshine, Panama City Beach isn’t likely to be on their hit-list any time soon.

What the heck is this stuff?!

07. Soft Sand > Zombie Balance.

For some reason Zombies have horrible balance. Have you ever tried running in the soft sand in Panama City Beach? It takes enough concentration when you don’t have balance issues (i.e sober) Zombies would be completely useless!

Mmmmm… Brains!

06. Slippery Nipples.

In any “normal” zombie apocalypse situation (whatever that is), it’s all about tight fitting clothes and short hair for the win… However, if you’re on Spring Break 2013 in Panama City Beach (and you’re doing it right) then you’re wearing a bikini or board shorts. So you’re already taking your Zombie safety to the next level… Plus, your skin will be probably nice and slippery from all the sunscreen – making for the perfect escape opportunity. That’s another (unexpected) benefit of wearing your sunscreen on the beach!
